2015 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 10,000 times in 2015. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. That is really cool! I’ve got my blog on Blogspot and I don’t think they do anything like this…but it would be nice if they did.

You’ve got great readership and it’s obvious that your posts resonate with a lot of people, which is no surprise as they are always thought-provoking and insightful. Even though I am not a runner (maybe if a bear was chasing me), I enjoy reading about your races and wish you much luck as you prepare for them in 2016!

    Happy New Year!

    • Awww thanks Denise. It is interesting looking back when I started blogging, BlogSpot and WordPress were the only 2 platforms I had heard of, and decided to go with WordPress. For a non tech person, it hasn’t been as hard as I expected, and I do like these end of year reviews that they do it their entirety.

I cherish having you as a fellow blogger friend. You are so very enthusiastic, friendly and encouraging. Always love it when you stop by and see your kind words. Can’t even recall how I found your blog, but I think it might have been through Twitter. It seems like I have “known” you for longer than less than 6 months.

Your posts are so thorough, interesting and fascinating. Your pictures are incredible. Your wording is so descriptive. It is like I am right there on that tour, or in that restaurant.

It means a lot that as a non runner such as yourself, that you enjoy the blog. Have a great 2016 Denise. Thank you for all your support! 🙂
